A beautifully hand-painted Chinese porcelain bowl, decorated in famille rose enamels with lively scenes of birds among bamboo. The design is finely detailed, with vibrant pinks, greens and yellows standing out against the white ground.
The underside bears a blue Qianlong reign mark within a square, though this bowl is a later 20th century decorative example rather than an 18th century original.
