Shipping Policy – The Antique Forager

UK customers
Standard tracked postage is included in the displayed price of every item for delivery within the United Kingdom. There is therefore no additional charge for standard UK postage at checkout.
Orders are sent using a Royal Mail tracked service or another suitable tracked courier. If an optional enhanced delivery service is available, its price will be shown separately at checkout.
International customers
International postage is calculated at checkout according to the parcel’s weight and destination.
International orders are sent using a tracked service and are insured where appropriate and available.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, handling fees or other local charges imposed by the destination country, unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included.
Customs procedures may occasionally delay international deliveries. If we cannot deliver an item to your destination, we will contact you promptly and provide a refund.
Dispatch
Orders are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days after payment has been received. Working days do not include weekends or UK bank holidays.
If The Antique Forager is temporarily closed or dispatch is taking longer than usual, this will be clearly stated in the announcement banner on our website.
Delivery and tracking
Delivery times shown at checkout begin after dispatch and are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates. They may vary according to the destination, courier service and any customs processing.
Once your parcel has been dispatched, we will send a confirmation email containing tracking information where available. Please ensure that your email address is entered correctly at checkout. A telephone number is optional but may help the courier provide delivery updates.
Some services may require a signature. Where the courier offers the facility, you may be able to nominate a safe place or rearrange delivery directly with them.
The Antique Forager remains responsible for your order until it has been delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive it. If your parcel is significantly delayed, missing or arrives damaged, please contact us so that we can investigate with the courier.
Delivery address
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order. If you discover an error, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been dispatched.
Packaging
Every item is checked before dispatch and carefully packaged to protect it in transit. We use sturdy boxes and recycled or recyclable packaging materials wherever practicable while ensuring that the item is properly protected.
