Sold by Thorntons of Leeds, this iconic 14oz racket from the groundbreaking Maxply series (launched in 1932) features a multi-wood laminate design for performance and feel. Original logo grip, neck, and most of the head are in excellent condition. The top head has wear, and the strings are deteriorated. A true symbol of craftsmanship.
2. Slazenger Demon Medium 2
A medium-weight classic “Made for Championship Play.” Original grip and strings are well-preserved. The lower head and neck are in great condition; upper head shows mild wear. This model was beloved during the early-mid 20th century for its balance and playability.
Both rackets have protective tape around the head—an authentic touch used to guard against scuffing on hard courts. This one has the original protective cover
Whether for display, light play, or nostalgic gifting, these rackets represent timeless sports elegance
