Here we have a 19th century Chinese puzzle wine or tea pot, 19cm high
These pots were imported in the 1800's, there are not many about because of their fragile design - this one is an old one and has a couple of dinks.
One in particular on the lid aperture (as clearly seen on the images) has been honestly repaired by a professional and a tiny similar repair on the spout. To me this shows that this piece was worth spending a professional restorers time on and their money to repair it .
There are character marks to the base that hints at an age of late 17th century but we feel this is more likely a lovely 19th century homage
