It is rare to have the blotter with these sets as they often get separated

You can see what the original colour was (and could be) from the base and inside the wells - a rich almost gilt bronze
We have left the piece unpolished to retain the original antique patina
There is one of the glass inserts missing to one of the inkwells aside from that this set is in fabulous antique condition
