The flask has a flattened bottle form with a narrow neck and small lip. The surface is coated in a green glaze over a pale ground, with hand-incised decoration forming a framed panel of cursive script to the front.
Sgraffito is a traditional decorative method in which layers of slip or glaze are applied and then scratched through to reveal the underlying surface. Here, the technique is used to create both the border decoration and the central inscription.
The script appears to be handwritten and decorative rather than purely functional. Elements resemble Italian or other European languages, though the text is not clearly legible or fully translatable. It is best understood as a decorative inscription rather than a readable document.
The overall appearance suggests a piece of folk or regional pottery, valued for its character, surface texture, and handmade quality.
