The Kangxi Emperor, also known by his temple name Emperor Shengzu of Qing, born Xuanye, was the third emperor of the Qing dynasty, and the second Qing emperor to rule over China proper, reigning from 1661 to 1722.
This vase was once taller but has been reduced (many years ago, maybe 150 years ago!), none the less for a vase that is 300 years old its doing well. There is also a hair line crack from the neck down as see in the images. This piece has been priced to allow for these ancient quirks.
