Here we have a collection of vintage silver and enamel road safety council bars 1946-55 plus ribbons

These are usually 925 silver but not marked made by Fattorini & Sons - a jewellery business established by a family of Italian immigrants who arrived in the British city of Leeds, in Yorkshire, England in the early 19th century. Antonio Fattorini opened a shop in Harrogate to take advantage of seasonal trade in Harrogate in 1831
There is a 15 (dated 1946) and 20 year (dated 1951) Road safety medal at the top of the ribbons followed by the intermediate bars awarded each year.
