Here we have an exquisite piece of folk art in the form of a mounted hand carved horse/foal 15cm wide

This is where my passion is - I love folk art - to me a piece that is useful and has been made by an untrained hand to gift someone within their home - An original one off never to be repeated item

This little foal has evidentially been hand carved then mounted on a piece of hardwood - there is a hook at the top to hang the gift and it's made simply from a length of rolled card and tacked to the top -so home made and lovely

There is a bit of script written on a bit of stuck down paper on the back of this piece - you decide what it says :) - Its age and origin is unknown adding to the mystery of such Folk Art pieces
