Late 20th-C Murano-style Green & Gold Foil Art Glass Bead Necklace, 74cm – Gilt Metal Caps, Venetian Lampwork Vintage

Glowing apple-green beads with flecks of gold run the full 74cm of this vintage strand. Each bead is hand-worked art glass with encased gold foil (aventurina), spaced with seed beads and finished with ribbed gilt metal caps for a classic Venetian look.

This was bought as a late 20th-century Murano glass necklace. It isn’t maker-marked, so I’m listing it as Murano-style/attributed to Murano, priced accordingly. The colour is gorgeous and the length is easy—doubles neatly or wears long over knitwear.

• Length: approx. 74cm (about 29").

• Era: late 20th century (c. 1980s–1990s).
