Here we have a Pair of Enamelled white metal Shields Marked Vaughtons Ltd Birmingham c1880
They measure 35mm wide and are beautifully decorated with initials
Vaughtons were established in 1819, and since then have been at the forefront of bespoke manufacturing.
Between 1866 and 1902, Vaughtons were documented in various locations, then in 1903, they relocated to an impressive purpose-built factory, Vaughtons Gothic Works on Livery Street in the Jewellery Quarter, which is still there today.
