Here we have a rare antique glass Parker Fountain Pen Lucky Curve advertising sign 157mm wide

The famous Lucky Curve feed was patented in 1894 and this was the first single idea that began to get things moving for Parker.

Already from the beginning Parker realised the impact this invention could have and he decided to advertise this new pen feature, even though it was a part that was actually hidden inside the pen.

In 1929, Parker replaced the Lucky Curve feed in the top-line Duofold with a flat comb feed, but the simple Christmas Tree feed, with the Lucky Curve extension cut off, remained in use into the early 1930s, probably to use up existing stock of the parts.

So this sign must pre date the 1930's

There is some wear to the actual sign on the glass as can be seen in the images, but this has survived around 100 years and is quite a rarity. There are some minor chips to the perimeter of the glass and what looks to be a break but we can be sure as the line goes through the advertising lettering yet this is not broken - zoom in on the images to see
