Here we have a wonderful piece of naive Ukranian folk art. A horse before a mountainous landscape painted with oils on canvas. The piece is signed and inscribed verso, unframed measuring 30cm x 30cm.

The detailing and brush strokes display an artist with ability. The rather flat perspective is typical of course of this kind of nave folk art but adds measurably to its charm. The inscription on the reverse couldn't be translated in our office but would certainly add to the story behind this piece should the new owner be able to translate it themselves.
The painting has been left unframed to allow the new owner to choose to hang it as it is or have it framed perhaps in a simple wooden frame to befit the pictures subject.
