Here we have a vintage Brompton Hospital Lozenges tin sold by Boots 8x5.5x1.5cm
This tin is in good condition and an early example. Yes there are signs of ware as you can see from the images but the hinges works well and the advertising has great colour and is legible, one very mild dent to the tin lid
The Brompton cough lozenge first appeared in 1886 and pirated versions were sold on stalls on the Fulham Road for a penny a box
