Here we have a rare antique English hallmarked solid silver capped lead ended fishing/angling priest by G & J Zair - Birmingham - 1892 - 28cm long

I have not cleaned the silver end to retain it's authentic patina - this must have belonged to a wealthy person - the addition of silver to this piece and the fact that it has survived for over 130 years points to a well made high end piece indeed
