Here we have an antique pewter beaker symbolising the Russian French union of July 1891 in Krondsadt - 10cm tall -340g

This historical little tumbler is quite rare - The embossed pewter design represents the coat of arms of Paris and Russia made for the celebration of the alliance between Russia and France with Alexander III Emperor in Krondsadt July 1891
French fleet was officially received - a first step towards Franco- Russian alliance
There is also the crest of the Russian Eagle twined with crest of the city of Paris embossed on the opposite side - another symbolic sign of the union
Peace(PAX) symbol signifies entinte cordiale between Russia and France pre. 1917
There is tarnishing to the beaker and it is slightly miss-shapen - we have purposefully not cleaned the beaker choosing to retain the ancient patina
