Here we have an early 19th century George III silver plated caddy spoon by William Parkin of Sheffield 9.5cm long

William Parkin started the company in 1812. Active at 2 Broomhall Lane and 6 Campo Lane as plater and Britannia metal manufacturer (1822). In 1849 at Sheaf Bank as Merchant & table knife manufacturer. The mark "WP" was used in the early stages of Parkin & Marshall.
The spoon is engraved with a floral design in the bowl and a lovely example of a spoon of this period (over 200 years old)
