A late 19th to early 20th century three-draw brass telescope with leather-covered main barrel.
The telescope extends smoothly from 27 cm closed to approximately 78 cm fully extended. It features three brass draw tubes, a turned brass eyepiece and a sliding eye lens dust protector. The main barrel is bound in original textured leather.
Unmarked, as is common with mid-grade commercial examples of the period. Construction and form are consistent with British manufacture, circa 1880–1910.
The optics present with expected age-related internal dust. It produces a view but has not been optically cleaned or professionally tested. Sold as a decorative and collectible antique instrument rather than a precision modern optical device.
Closed length: 27 cm
Fully extended length: 78 cm
A solid example of a Victorian brass field or marine telescope.
