A well-matched collection of five antique British sewing tools dating from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, comprising three bone-handled stilettos, a carved bone lace-making stylus, and a fine steel crochet hook.

These compact yet essential implements were used across embroidery, broderie anglaise, eyelet work, crochet and lace-making, and today offer a representative insight into domestic needlework practices of the era.

The group includes a long hand-shaped bone stylus with decorative turning, two medium stilettos with tapered steel points and ferrules, a slender early stiletto with an elegant collar, and a bone-handled crochet hook with a fine steel head.

All pieces display the gentle toning and natural grain typical of 19th-century bone work, together with the honest patina of long service. A characterful and useful set for collectors of sewing antiques or for inclusion in textile history displays.
