A characterful mixed set of five 19th-century British wooden moulding planes, each with its own profile and maker’s stamp. These came from the same workshop and include a desirable variety of cutting forms, from wide ogees to quirks and bevel combinations. Makers represented include J. Buck (London), W. Richardson (Warrington), and others with clear initials and workshop marks. One example has its original wedge broken but retained, allowing for restoration if desired.
A good working, study or decorative set showing the evolution of hand-cut mouldings and traditional joinery. Ideal for collectors, interior decorators, tool historians or anyone creating authentic period architectural finishes.
