A characterful set of five original British wooden moulding planes, each made by a different traditional maker and offering a mix of profiles typical of late 19th to early 20th-century joinery. These were working tools used by cabinetmakers and joiners for producing custom mouldings and architectural details, and each carries its own history of use, wear and workshop patina.

Makers represented in this set include:
🌿 J. Hawkins
🌿 Buck, 247 Tottenham Court Road, London
🌿 Marples, Sheffield (B.B. mark)
🌿 F. Gregory
🌿 J. Carr

Also present are user stamps and workshop initials, reflecting long service life and traditional ownership marking.

Each plane still retains its original wedge and iron. A good decorative or reference set for tool collectors, interior designers, or those styling workshops, libraries, and heritage settings. Sold together as one lot.

Condition
Honest, well-used condition throughout.
🌿 Age-related surface marks, wear and tool dents
🌿 Some old shrinkage lines typical of 19th-century hardwoods
🌿 Irons show age but are intact
🌿 Working parts present; not tested for modern woodworking use
