A very early example of this well collected ceramic set by the renowned firm J. & G. Meakin who were an English Pottery manufacturing company founded in 1851 and based in Hanley , Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire
There is a some loss of the colour in this piece please see images - adds to the romance of such an early lovely object
