A small collection of antique sewing tools dating from the early 20th century, including two bone-handled stilettos/awls, a slim bone-handled crochet hook, and a turned wood bodkin or stiletto.

These were originally used for fine needlework, embroidery, lacework and general hand sewing tasks. The set has a pleasing variety of forms and demonstrates the everyday craftsmanship of early sewing tool production.

Condition
These pieces are over 100 years old and show expected age and use. The steel points show areas of oxidation and pitting, common for tools of this age. Bone handles display natural age toning and small marks. The wooden bodkin is well aged with surface wear. All tools remain solid and intact.
