A decorative Chinese temple-form mantel clock in gilt metal with cloisonné-style detailing and resin transfer panels.
Standing 21cm tall, the clock is designed in a pagoda form with four corner columns, domed finial top and stepped base. The blue ground decoration features floral and foliate motifs in the cloisonné manner, framed by gilt metal mounts and turned finials.
The side panels depict a bird perched on a flowering branch, executed as printed decoration beneath a clear resin surface rather than hand-painted porcelain. The case construction is metal with applied decorative panels.
The movement is a quartz unit (TIANJIAN M2000A) powered by a single AA battery.
This is a late 20th century decorative piece made in the antique Chinese style — intended as an ornamental statement object rather than a traditional mechanical timepiece.
