A characterful matching set of four late Victorian glove stretchers, each hand-crafted with the simple, elegant lines typical of late 19th-century dressing-room tools. This group shows lovely natural ageing, soft patina, and working hinges, with each stretcher measuring an average of 17cm in length.
Originally used to gently open the fingers of fine gloves after laundering, these make beautiful decorative objects today – ideal for curio cabinets, sewing rooms, fashion studios, shop displays or period-themed interiors.
