An ornate Victorian silver plated sugar bowl made by the renowned Sheffield silversmiths James Dixon & Sons, dating from around 1880–1900.
This finely crafted piece features richly embossed Rococo Revival decoration with scrolling foliage, floral motifs, and blank cartouche panels. The twin handles curve elegantly from the body, and it rests on four decorative feet.
The underside is stamped with the firm’s trumpet trademark and JD&S EPBM 2080, confirming it as a James Dixon & Sons design made from Electro Plated Britannia Metal.
