Antique wooden cigar mold by Astra J.C Muller Universelle 56cm long

This item is an antique cigar press/mold. The cigar mold consists of two matching parts with twenty barges for the cigars and a hole for a dowel.
This mold, which has a great rugged look, will have been used to create many thousands of cigars.
An excellent conversation starter about the hand-rolling and pressing process of cigars.
A beautifully made piece of manufacturing history that would look great in a display cabinet or on the wall of any home.
On top of the cigar mold are the texts: Astra No. 17819 J.C. Muller Universelle
