Antique Unusual Art Deco articulated working desk cigarette dispenser from Japan 1930's
It used to dispense cigarettes but these are largely used now to dispense sweets etc
This very unusual hugely collectable antique piece of working articulated treen is a wonder to behold
The original pale blue removable ash tray is in lovely condition (some tiny nibbles to the rim) - original red knobs that feel like Bakelite
The Box itself works perfectly as seen in the video with a burr walnut top and sides, the rest looks to be made from pine
When you lift the desk lid the sides drop to reveal the contents in the purpose made slots - very cool
A very rare and unusual cigarette smokers box with ash tray- a real survivor
This piece measures 18cm wide 11 cm deep and10cm tall
