An Arts and Crafts Antique copper cider/beer tankard from early 20th Century
The inside has been tinned for use and externally hand hammered and incised to form the concentric circular lines
The rim has an unusual wavy design and the handle a sinuous form all synonymous with the Arts and Crafts period
The tankard sits 14.5cm high x 15cm diameter across the base and weighs 710 grammes
There is some wear to this piece of course as its been used so there are some small scratches and dints adding to its charm and overall patina
We have left it unpolished to highlight its age and to retain its charm
