A superb early 20th-century Arts & Crafts style hammered pewter comport or tazza by Hutton of Sheffield, dating from around 1920–1930.
This elegant two-handled raised bowl displays fine craftsmanship with a rich hand-hammered finish and geometric handles characteristic of late Arts & Crafts and early Art Deco design. The piece stands on a slender pedestal foot and has excellent balance and proportion, typical of Hutton’s refined English pewterwork.
