A vintage carved wooden box of Chinese manufacture, complete with a collection of tarot-style cards and a cloth bag.
The box is heavily carved with traditional decoration to the lid and sides and is stamped "Made in China" to the inside of the lid. The front retains its metal clasp and lock, although the lock has been forced at some point to gain access to the contents and no longer functions as intended.
Included is a deck of tarot-style cards with blue patterned backs. The cards feature familiar Rider-Waite style imagery including Judgement, The Hermit, The Sun, Queen of Pentacles, Ace of Pentacles, Page of Pentacles and others. The deck has not been counted, so it is being sold as found and may not be complete.
Also included is a cloth drawstring bag containing the cards. The cloth appears to be hand-worked or an unfinished embroidery project and includes the wording "Today is the tomorrow...".

Condition
Overall good vintage condition with age-related wear.
The carved box displays general wear and small knocks consistent with age and use. The front lock has previously been forced open and no longer operates correctly, although the clasp remains attached. The tarot cards have not been checked for completeness and are sold exactly as found. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
