A collection of seven vintage carved shell cameo plaques of varying sizes, each depicting classical subjects including female profile portraits, mythological scenes and a chariot with horses.
One cameo depicting three female figures is signed to the reverse, although the signature is difficult to decipher. It appears to read something similar to J.RIC.VRO, but this cannot be confirmed and is sold as found.
These are loose cameo plaques rather than mounted jewellery, making them suitable for collectors, restorers, jewellers or craft projects.

Largest cameo: approximately 6 cm high.
Smallest cameo: approximately 3.5 cm high.

Condition
Good vintage condition overall.
There is light age-related wear and minor surface marks consistent with age and handling. Some examples show small edge nibbles and natural variations within the shell. The signed cameo has not been removed from its current state to examine the reverse in detail. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
