The Volunteer Reserves are the British Armed Forces voluntary and part-time military reserve force. Unlike the Regular Reserve, the Volunteer Reserves do not consist of ex-Regular personnel who remain liable to be re-called for military service. Instead, the Volunteer Reserves consists of civilian volunteers who routinely undergo training and military operations alongside the Regular military

These oTs buttons are made by Firmin & Sons the oldest manufacturing company in Europe, Firmin & Sons are honoured to be appointed by H.M. The Queen and H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, as manufacturers of insignia, buttons, and accessories, and suppliers of ribbon.

We are the world leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of all types of uniform buttons, from fatigues to parade and ceremonial. We are able to meet any need; from a single set of 18ct gold blazer buttons to tens of thousands of electroplated buttons in many finishes. Firmin & Sons bring three and a half centuries of experience to every button we supply.

Supplying every monarch since Charles II (r. 1649 1685) we still manufacture buttons in our Birmingham factory in the traditional manner, supplying direct to Kashket & Partners in London, United Kingdom public services, and throughout the world. Our buttons are stamped from hand-cut dies on rope hammers, and hand mounted. Every stage of manufacture from design to the cutting of the die, and hand-finishing at every stage is done in-house.
