James Priddey RBSA PPRBSA FRSA (1916 – 1980) signed Artist proof - inscribed in pencil colour etching titled Pemaen Pool embossed Warwick Gallery artist proof mark

James Priddey was a notable English painter and printmaker, known for his detailed watercolours and etchings. He was a member of the Royal Birmingham society of artists and had a prolific careerproducing may works that captured various landscapes and landmarks. This painting is of a beautiful spot in Wales called Penmaenpool is a hamlet on the south side of the estuary of the River Mawddach in Wales, near Dolgellau. A Grade II listed toll bridge provides access across the estuary for light vehicles.

The embossing from Warwick Gallery and the designation as an artist proof add to its uniqueness and potential value. Artist proofs are typically limited in number and are often considered more valuable by collectors
