A substantial sterling silver pendant set with a large, richly coloured purple cabochon believed to be amethyst.
The smoothly polished stone is held within a simple rounded silver setting, complemented by a generously sized tubular bail suitable for a substantial chain or cord.
The pendant is stamped 925 for sterling silver and weighs approximately 18g, including the stone. It measures approximately 32mm across.
The gemstone has not been professionally tested and is therefore described as believed to be amethyst.

Good pre-owned condition with surface marks, scratches and natural tarnishing to the silver. The stone contains visible inclusions and variations beneath the surface, which form part of its individual appearance.
We do not heavily clean vintage or pre-owned silver, leaving its new owner the choice of retaining the existing patina or polishing it to their preferred finish.
