Original IRM Hutchings Dog Sketch Study Trial Artwork Mounted on Card 19cm
Couldn't load pickup availability
An original red pencil sketch study by IRM Hutchings, mounted onto card. The artwork features two studies of what appears to be the same dog, with one sketch annotated "The Sheep's Head."
The reverse contains various handwritten notes and annotations together with part of a Reeves & Sons Ltd., London board label. The handwritten notes are difficult to decipher but appear to include references such as Mrs E. Vale, Bethersden, N.W., Deep Etch, and what appears to read "trial pieces." These markings suggest the card may have been used within the artist's working process or studio.
An interesting original working study offering insight into the artist's methods rather than a finished exhibition piece.
