A beautiful pair of English Arts and Crafts candlesticks in copper and brass, dating from around 1900–1910.
Each candlestick stands 18 cm tall and features an elegant Art Nouveau design, with flaring copper bases and candle sconces supported by flowing brass tendrils in a heart-like form. The bases are weighted and show traces of the original solder underneath.
These pieces reflect the quality and simplicity of early handcrafted British metalware, comparable in style to the work of W.A.S. Benson and Newlyn workshops. They retain their rich warm patina and display beautifully.
