A Poole Pottery stoneware bird figure, modelled as a small wren perched on a textured rock. Stamped POOLE ENGLAND to the base with the decorator’s monogram CB (Carol Boyd), LBC to the side probably for London Brick Company and part of the design
This is a typical example from Poole’s stoneware wildlife range of the 1970s–80s, showing good feather detail and the characteristic matt stoneware finish. A neatly produced piece with the slightly grainy, naturalistic surface that Poole collectors expect.
Height approximately 10cm.
