The mark on the back indicates pre 1928 and after 1892
George Warrilow (& Sons) (Ltd) - China manufacturer at the Park Place Works, Longton (1887-88) then from 1889 at the Queens Pottery, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
George Warrilow was in partnership with James Herbert Cope at the Wellington Works, Stafford Street, Longton from 1880 until they parted ways in 1887.
Cope remained at the Wellington Works and Warrillow moved to the Park Place Works in Longton for the two years 1887 & 1888 - in 1889 moved to the Queen's Pottery works in nearby Sutherland Road, Longton.
George Warrilow and his sons Harry, George and Frederick operated at the Queen's Pottery.
Frederick Warrilow left the partnership in May 1895 and George in May 1901 leaving Harry Warrilow to continue the business - the name George Warrilow and Sons was retained.
The Warrilow business closed in 1940 and then the Queen's Pottery was operated by Rosina China Co Ltd
