This striking limited edition crystal art cylinder was designed by award-winning New York artist Susan Ward. Specially commissioned for American Express, each piece was handmade and hand painted using Ward’s distinctive multi-step process, resulting in richly textured decoration and unique abstract patterns.
The heavy 25cm tall, 15cm diameter cylinder is crafted from thick crystal glass, with applied and painted designs that combine geometric motifs with organic forms. The layered surface treatment gives the impression of an ancient artefact reimagined for contemporary interiors.
This example comes complete with its original patterned presentation box and printed artist’s statement/care card, confirming its provenance as part of a special American Express commission.
