Badge 1. Royal Army Service Corps - Honi Soit Mal Y Pense ('may he be shamed who thinks badly of it') -The Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) was a corps of the British Army responsible for land, coastal and lake transport, air despatch, barracks administration, the Army Fire Service, staffing headquarters' units, supply of food, water, fuel and domestic materials such as clothing, furniture and stationery and the supply of technical and military equipment.
Badge 2. Honi Soit Mal Y Pense - R.N.Z.A.S.C (Royal New Zealand Army Service Corps badge) - Circular metal badge with a silver-coloured base with seven points and a royal crown at the top. The front of the badge has a metallic gold colour and is a wreath shape with the initials "E II R" in the centre. Around the wreath is the Anglo-Saxon maxim: 'honi soit qui mal y pense', which means 'may he be shamed who thinks badly of it'. below the wreath is the initials "R.N.Z.A.S.C" for the Royal New Zealand Army Service Corps. A copper coloured two pronged pin in on the reverse.
