Vintage Pen & Pencil Set – Conway Stewart Nippy, Sheaffer Silver Pearl, Faber-Castell 189 Degussa – Collectors 1930s–50s

A small but distinctive collection of three vintage writing instruments dating from the 1930s to 1950s, ideal for collectors or display.

Conway Stewart “Nippy” Ballpoint Pen – made in England, marbled black and blue-grey celluloid, approx. 126mm long. A classic British design with the CS clip emblem.

Sheaffer Mechanical Pencil – made in USA, marked “PAT C 78,777”, silver pearl and black marbled body, approx. 122mm long. A fine example of Sheaffer’s Balance-era styling from the 1930s–40s.

Faber-Castell 189 Mechanical Pencil – striped transparent green body, approx. 116mm long, marked “Degussa”. A desirable German piece from the 1950s, combining elegance and practical design.

All three are sold as found, untested, and may require servicing or refills. Each retains its vintage patina and character, making them attractive to pen enthusiasts, collectors of 20th-century writing tools, or those seeking unique display pieces.
