A fine pair of vintage Mabie Todd “Fyne Poynt” propelling pencils, both marked M.T. & Co. Ltd, Made in England, together with a vintage box of Pentel refill leads.

Mabie Todd Fyne Poynt – Black
Classic black finish with gold-tone fittings, approx. 121mm long.

Mabie Todd Fyne Poynt – Brown Herringbone
Attractive patterned barrel in brown herringbone with gold-tone fittings, approx. 132mm long.

Pentel 0.5mm 5H Refill Leads
Vintage Japanese refill leads, useful and collectible, presented in the original box.

Mabie Todd & Company Ltd were one of Britain’s leading pen manufacturers, established in 1914 but with origins dating back to 1884. Their “Swan” fountain pen became known as the pen of the British Empire, and their “Fyne Poynt” range of pencils reflected the same quality and craftsmanship.

These pencils are sold untested and may require servicing or refills. They retain their vintage patina and charm, making them ideal for collectors of 20th-century writing instruments, or as display pieces for a desk or study.
