Victorian wooden Vanity box mother of pearl inlay original interior and contents
This box measures 30x23x16 - it has a wonderful inlaid mother of pearl and brass design to the top and escutcheon
Inside there is a lift out wooden tray with storage compartments (space beneath for jewellery etc) , three glass vessels for perfumes and creams etc one appears to be missing - two with worn silver plate lids - original working key
To the right is a brass button - pull it to reveal the secret bottom spring loaded velvet clad tray for valuables etc
In the lid there is a blue embossed velvet semi hidden compartment for secret love letters etc
Overall for a piece that is around 160 years old its in great condition, there is ware to the interior and light scratches and blemishes to the wooden box itself all shown in the images
