A vintage Ronson Rover R100 pocket lighter, finished in a brushed gold-tone metal case with a contrasting chrome-plated top mechanism. Believed to be New Old Stock (NOS), this piece appears entirely unused.
This lighter comes as a complete set, retaining its original red Ronson presentation box, instruction manual, small cleaning brush, and original accompanying paperwork. The base of the lighter is stamped with the maker's mark "RONSON", along with "BRITISH EMPIRE MADE, HONG KONG" and the U.S. Patent number 2,401,195.
Constructed for everyday use, it utilizes a standard flint and wick ignition system. Please note: The lighter requires a new flint (which is a simple, standard replacement) and lighter fluid to operate. To comply with UK postal laws, it is illegal to send flammable liquids in the post, so this lighter is strictly shipped empty of any fuel and without a flint.
