A mid-20th century British brass telescopic monocular engraved:
“FALCON 22x ENBEECO – LONDON Made in England”.
The monocular extends from 18cm closed to approximately 46cm fully drawn. Constructed in lacquered brass with a textured patterned synthetic resin grip section, retaining its original end cap.
The grip covering is a thin moulded resin or early plastic material rather than leather, typical of post-war British field optics.
The eyepiece incorporates threaded focus adjustment. The objective lens is intact; light internal haze is visible consistent with age. Engraving remains clear and legible.
Falcon-branded optics were retailed in London during the mid-20th century for sporting, maritime and general field use.
