The reverse is stamped "SILVER" and bears the maker's mark "BARTON" (referencing the renowned colonial jewellers and silversmiths Barton & Son of Bangalore and Bombay).

• 1956 Enfield Walking Medal: A six-pointed star pendant with black and orange enamel detailing, inscribed "ENFIELD" around a central monogram ("CA"). The reverse is engraved with the award details: "J. HAYWARD / 3rd / 20 MILES WALK / 1956".
