Vintage British Rail Bardic Signal Lamp, Cast Aluminium Railway Handlamp, Southampton, c.1960s

An original mid-century British Rail (BR) three-aspect signalling handlamp manufactured by Bardic Ltd. of Southampton. Constructed from rugged cast aluminium with a top-mounted carry handle and side-release locking clips, this robust piece features its original rubber bezel and internal lens assembly, including the green signalling filter.

The base is clearly marked "Bardic Ltd, Southampton, Made in England" alongside patent reference 1,042,127 and serial number S12006. A wonderful piece of British transport heritage, perfect for railway memorabilia collectors or industrial interior styling.
