This beautifully detailed vintage Chinese porcelain figure depicts a seated Mandarin noble dressed in traditional robes with striking cobalt blue and gilt detailing.
Measuring 17cm tall, the figure is seated on a stylised base, robed in a spotted gown and fur-trimmed cape, with fine hand-painted facial features and expressive posture.
There is visible age-related wear, some enamel and gilding loss is present (especially to the front of the robe), but overall the figure remains solid and displays very well. The base shows signs of age and is probably missed a felt base
