Vintage English Hip Flask – James Dixon & Sons – Electroplated Cap – Leather Clad – Sheffield – 264g – c.1920s–40s

A classic and well-made vintage English hip flask by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, dating from the first half of the 20th century. The flask is clad in rich tan leather and fitted with a screw cap stamped “English Electroplate” and marked with the maker’s mark J D & S alongside their iconic trumpet trademark.

This handsome flask holds 6 fluid ounces, measures 14cm tall x 10cm wide, and weighs 264 grams. The screw-top mechanism is in excellent working order, and the piece has a great feel in hand.

James Dixon & Sons were one of England’s most respected silversmiths and electroplate manufacturers, known for quality craftsmanship across barware, cutlery, and sporting goods.
